Abstract
This article discusses the utilization and the relations between different resource categories in the strategies adopted by an agroindustrial
cooperative in Paraná state. The research was carried out through longitudinal with transversal cuts case study. Examining
the different resource categories in the context of the changes in the studied organization’s strategies, an integration and complementation
process was observed to explain the adoption of these strategies, in which characteristics such as agro-industrialization process,
diversification of business activities, growth and insertion in foreign markets, transition from a commodities’ organization to one
focused on products with added value, were implicit.
