Abstract
Liquid biofuels in Poland are used on a small scale, liquid fuels with an admixture of bio-components
(bioethanol and esters) are more commonly used. The main aim of this paper was a comparative analysis
of the production of biofuels and biocomponents in Poland between 2011 and 2014. As the analyses show,
in this period the amount of biocomponents produced in Poland increased by more than 300,000 tons and
the production of liquid biofuels decreased by almost 94,000 tons. A characteristic feature of the market of
biocomponents and liquid biofuels in Poland is the concentration of supply in spatial terms.
