A klímaváltozás, pontosabban a cikkben is bizonyított felmelegedési tendencia, az aszályos évek és az időjárási anomáliák gyakorisága tényként fogadható el. Éppen ezért mind az aszályra, mind a vízbőségre szükséges felkészülni. Ennek eszköztára sokszínű, akárcsak a klímaváltozás jelenségei. Mindenekelőtt az aszály megelőzésének és kártételének enyhítése az elsőrendű stratégiai rangú feladat. Így a talajművelés megváltoztatása, a művelési ágak arányváltoztatásai, új szárazságtűrő növényfajták termelésbe vonása, az öntözés és melioráció fejlesztése indokolt. A vízbőség elleni védekezésben az ismert agrotechnikai és műszaki beavatkozások széles körű alkalmazása jelenti a megoldást. A stratégiát jól szolgálják az agrár-környezetvédelmi programban megfogalmazott törekvések is. Szükséges továbbá az információs rendszer finomítása és a biztosítási rendszer átalakítása. A klímaváltozásra való felkészülés a külön féle hazai és EU pénzügyi forrásokra támaszkodhat. -------------- Climatic change - or, more exactly, the trend of warming, the frequency of years of draught, and anomalies of the weather, the existence of which is proven also by the present paper - can be accepted as a matter of fact. Therefore arrangements for the control of both draught and excess precipitation must be made. There are manifold means for this purpose, just as the phenomena of the climatic change are very various too. The main strategic task is to prevent draught or at least reduce the damage caused by it. Such measures are recommended for this purpose as: the alteration of tillage; the modification of the ratio of cultivated crops; the introduction of new plant varieties resistant to draught; and the development of irrigation and amelioration. Endeavours formulated in the programme of environ mental protection in agriculture are also very helpful in respect of the strategy in question. Another task is to improve the information system and transform the assurance system. Preparations for the climatic change can be based on diverse (both domestic and EU) financial resources.
