This publication presents final hog and pig estimates, including some revisions, made by the Crop Reporting Board for the period 1976-78 and continues the official series published in Statistical Bulletin No. 588, issued December 1977. This series includes annual and Quarterly estimates for inventory, sows farrowed, pig crops, number of operations with hogs, and value of the inventory on December 1 of those years.
